This is an invitation to submit a bid to Pickens County for the 2025 LMIG SPLOST ROADS ASPHALT PAVING PROJECT as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Chairman (in Pickens County Administration Building at the above address) up to 1:30 p.m., February 13, 2025, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Scope of Work: This project will be funded with 2025 LMIG and SPLOST funds. Construction includes asphalt milling, patching, resurfacing, and striping on Henderson Mountain Road, Philadelphia Road, Upper Salem at Airport Road, Salem Church Road, and Bryant Loop Road. Additional roads could be added/replaced at the County¿s discretion. The work will include approximately 133,605 SY of Asphalt Patching using 14,696 tons of asphalt patching. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2024; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions. Project work will be required to be complete by August 31, 2025. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection.
