The City of Middletown seeks proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct corridor studies along four major corridors in Middletown. These four corridors comprise over 12 miles of arterial roadway, and provide primary access to and through Middletown from all four directions: from the north, Newfield Street (Route 3) from Route 3 in Cromwell in to Washington St (Route 66) in Middletown; from the west, Washington Street (Route 66) from the Middlefield Town Line to Main St; from the south, South Main St (Route 17) from Brush Hill Road to Pleasant Street, and Pleasant Street to Main St; from the east, Saybrook Road from Randolph Road (Route 155) to Main Street Extension, and Main Street Extension to Union Street.
