1. General consultation services regarding solid waste/recycling issues affecting Ocean County, including permitting, design, operation and oversight where needed. 2. Contract compliance inspections of the Ocean County Recyclable Materials Processing Facility. 3. Post-closure operations and maintenance of the Southern Ocean Landfill Facility, including methane flare, leachate pump station, methane vents and wells, permit issues, etc. 4. Improvements and refinements to the single stream recyclables processing facility. 5. Special projects that may arise, including but not limited to: environmental studies related to air, odor, noise, and traffic at landfills in the County, groundwater evaluation and design consultation at closed landfills in the County, unanticipated environmental studies, and special civil design projects on an as-needed basis.
