The scope of work consists of removing accumulated Cook Inlet silts from the end of the Ship Creek Boat Ramp and redistributing it to the disposal area 150 feet westward of the ramp as shown in the Reference Drawings. The cleared channel shall match, at a minimum, the throat of the boat ramp (approximately 47 feet wide). See the attached reference drawings for details. The floating dock sections will be installed by the Owner after the Work is completed. It is not the intent of this Contract to require exporting cleared sediment to a disposal area off-site. The Contractor may move the material clear as long as hazards to navigation are not created. Relocating sediment from the ramp to another location along the Cook Inlet shoreline outside the permitted dredging area is not allowed (see Section XII).
