The City has identified North Broad Street Viaduct (Bridge U095011601) to proceed with rehabilitation work. This project will rehabilitate the bridge to address deficiencies indicated within the recent Bridge Special Inspection Report completed in March 2024. A copy of the special inspection report, photos, and recommendations is available from the City of Fremont, upon request. The most recent bridge inspection data is available on https://dot.nebraska.gov/businesscenter/bridge/. The viaduct crosses the BNSF Railroad tracks between North Carlstrom Drive and Judy Avenue. The professional services and the project construction will be funded with local funds. Bridge repairs are necessary to address structural deterioration issues. These repairs will improve the structure and maximize the lifespan of the viaduct.
