Montgomery County solicits responses from qualified Mechanical Construction/ Maintenance and Repair firms for H.V.A.C. repairs, rehabilitation, and/or alterations on County facilities on an as-needed basis for the current construction season. The work generally shall consist of H.V.A.C. repair, or other mechanical work associated with maintenance at sites throughout Montgomery County as specified by the Commissioner of Public Works through written purchase orders issued to the Contractor by the County Purchasing Department. The service crew shall be structured to meet the demands of each written job order. All work shall be paid on an hourly basis for the actual hours worked per classification. Price quotations shall include the following classifications: technician with fully equipped field truck; apprentice with tools; and technician with tools, each on an hourly basis.
