The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department of Parks (PARKS). PARKS is currently working with the Energy and Environmental Cabinet on a federal matching grant to replace the primary (high voltage) electrical infrastructure at Kentucky Dam Village and Kenlake State Resort Parks located in Western KY. This requires analysis and proposed plan of improvements for the secondary (low voltage) infrastructure; including budget analysis, cost estimations, plan development and potential construction administration to improve these systems up to a point that is compatible and suitable with the local utilities standards. The Commonwealth reserves the option to increase the scope of services under this RFP if needed and as funding allows, which could include locations in the Eastern portion of Kentucky.
