The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for servicing and repair of the plumbing equipment. Work shall be done in compliance with the MA Plumbing codes. Contractor must be able to provide diagnostic services; emergency services that will stabilize the situation; preventative maintenance, and minor repairs of the plumbing equipment. Plumbing equipment includes, but not limited to, heating systems, bathroom facilities, sprinkler systems, grease traps, drinking fountains, piping fixtures, drains, etc. Work shall include complete service, installation, and repair of all plumbing systems so as to insure continuous and trouble-free plumbing operations. WHA shall provide the Contractor a service work order, for every instance a service call is placed. This service work order must be referenced in the invoice to WHA. In the event major services are required (estimated at a cost of $2,000.00 or above); the Contractor shall submit a detailed cost estimate to the Contract Manager or its designee and obtain written approval prior to commencing work. The WHA reserves the right to solicit bids from other Contractors for any work estimated at above $10,000.00.
