The City of Litchfield is requesting bids for a three-year contract (2025-2027) for the annual 4th of July fireworks display. To be eligible, vendors must be able to meet the following requirements for a 30-minute minimum fireworks display: 1. The vendor must provide the City with General Liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00. and list the City of Litchfield as additionally insured. 2. The vendor must comply with federal, state and local requirements to put on said show. 3. The vendor and lead pyrotechnics operator must hold current permits from the State of Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office. 4. The vendor must provide at least five current references from recent jobs performed. 5. The vendor must provide a detailed list of the fireworks show proposed, including the number of shells and their diameter, along with any ground effects. 6. The city wishes to enter a three-year contract. 7. As part of the contract, the City will have the right to cancel future shows for whatever reason. 8. The fireworks show will take place every July 4 with a rain date of July 5.
