The contractor shall provide information technology (IT) consulting services that shall be specific to the Missouri Medicaid Enterprise (MME) related healthcare industry to the state agencies specified herein (hereinafter referred to as “state agency”) in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. All project work shall be processed through a Statement of Work (SOW) process. The resulting contracts are for the provision of consulting services only. Hardware and/or software products and/or wiring/cabling services shall not be provided by the contractor or acquired by the state agency under the contract; if such items are needed they shall be obtained through other state contracts or procurement efforts. The state agency shall assume responsibility for all state provided hardware, software, wiring and cabling products, excluding any development and other consulting services provided under the contract, which shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Staff augmentation services shall not be acquired through the resulting contracts, and instead will be acquired through a separate procurement, if needed.
