The Town of Braintree is seeking bids for on-call services related to inspection and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and green infrastructure systems, known as best management practices (BMPs). The Contractor will also undertake inspections, prepare reports, remove debris and litter, and provide supplemental seeding and/or planting as required. The Town of Braintree will consider at a minimum, the following criteria: The experience and qualifications of personnel. Demonstrated experience in the service for which this response is being submitted. Responsiveness of this Invitation to Bid specifications and instructions. Past performance for and recommendations from other public and private clients. Bidder must submit a list of at least three references with similar contract interests. Contract will be awarded to the "Lowest responsible and eligible bidders" offering the lowest total price for all items which will place those contractors on a list of eligible contractors from whom the Town will seek quotes for services specified herein. Bioretention area and rain garden maintenance operations shall be overseen by a certified Arborist, who holds at least one (1) of the following licenses: Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA); and/or Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist (MCH); and/or an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist (ISAC); and/or a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA); and/or has completed the full 80-hour course work from the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP); with at least five years experience in the field of municipal landscaping. All bidders must have access to a water truck with a minimum capacity of 500 gallons. The Town of Braintree reserves the right to reject any and all bids that do not satisfy the aforementioned items.
