This new Projection Mapping System shall transform the existing art wall using projection technology. This is a turnkey project. Firms shall be responsible for concept design through installation of the system utilizing projectors, software, hardware and any other needed equipment that will project onto the existing art wall each evening at a scheduled time after dusk. The art wall is located in the French Market Plaza (‘Plaza’) adjacent to the new pavilion at the northwest corner of Lot 3, at Main Street and the Illinois Prairie Path at Liberty Dr. (41.864462, -88.106380) and is approximately 8.5’ high by 49’ wide. This is a public area that is accessible at all times. The new Projection Mapping System shall consist of limited renovation of the existing space as needed. Designs shall project dynamic visuals onto the existing mural wall, requiring careful site surveying and calibration to achieve seamless projection mapping across the entire surface. While a wide variety of experience designs will be evaluated, the City has identified these preliminary ideas which may include, but not be limited to: • An experiential “show” experience featuring programmed content Audio/Visual displays atset scheduled times.
