VIII. SCOPE OF CONTRACTOR SERVICES A. The Water Treatment Company Shall provide a Complete Water Treatment Service rendered by their trained personnel according to water treatment industry standards. 1. Complete Water Treatment Services of a Hot Water Heating System: Revised 9-11-14 a. Closed system will be serviced on a quarterly schedule setup after notice to proceed. b. Furnish and apply treatment chemicals. • Microbiocides (ARSHS, BROMMAX 7.1, BULAB 6002, DBNPA, DIALD 15, chlorine tablets) For the control of biological growths, surface algae, bacteria and slime in cooling towers and close loop systems • Closed System Treatment Chemicals (CSM, ARNIT, DUBOTH 2828) Products to minimize corrosion in chilled, hot, and condenser water closed loop systems to maximize system efficiency and extend equipment life • Hot Water Boiler Treatment Chemicals (ARSBT, CORRODINE 710, DUBOTH OX) A blended formulation designed to control corrosion and scale in boiler systems. Sludge conditioners and steam recovery chemicals are also available • Cleaning Chemicals (CS-35, ARBSC) Designed to chemically clean all types of systems to remove scale, dirt, corrosive deposits and other system foulants • Special Applications (Metro Descaler, Calcium Hypochlorite • Glycol (Propylene and Ethylene) the Glycol level shall be tested monitored by the contractor under this contract. c. Inspect and adjust the water treatment equipment. Water treatment equipment is defined as, but not necessarily limited to, chemical feed tanks, by-pass feeders, chemical and biocide injection pumps, solenoid valves, control panels, time clocks, agitators and water meters as applicable. d. Endeavor to maintain proper chemical concentrations based on normal system operation while optimizing water consumption. e. Collect and analyze water samples and submit water analysis report. 2. Unscheduled service calls: There shall be no additional charges to the Administration, during normal business hours (7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays) to fulfill this agreement, provided such calls are not a result of tampering or abuse by unauthorized personnel or damage caused by other. 3. The Contractor may not repair or replace any existing equipment unless work is authorized by the Administration; The Contractor Shall furnish quotation to the Administration for repairs and replacements as time and materials under this contract.
