Contractor will provide paving repair services to mill and repair surface areas as identified by the Town. The work shall consist of the removal of existing asphalt surfaces consisting of, but not limited to paths, driveways, pedestrian walkways and other surfaces deemed suitable for paving. Extent of asphalt milling is approximately 1.5” thick. This section would also include sealing and crack filling requirements of asphalt surfaces not directly associated with asphalt paving of roadways and parking lots. The intent of this contract is to provide services to repair or replace asphalt areas not covered by DPW PROJECT 24-01 – On-Call Services for Milling and Paving Town Roadways due to the smaller size of the project, or to extend the life of asphalt surfaces within the Town when repaving is not deemed necessary, or funding is not available for a complete repaving. The work and material shall comply with Nassau County Standard Specifications. All millings shall become the property of the Contractor. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday unless otherwise approved by the project manager. The work shall include providing all paving/milling equipment, materials, labor, and services required to complete milling and resurfacing operations.
