Switches / Stacking Cables / Optics / Power Supplies / Power Cord – Preferred switches for this implementation are Juniper brand EX4100-48P POE+ switches with dual Juniper EX4100 920W AC Power Supplies, and Juniper brand EX2300-C-12P POE+ switches or comparable. Each switch should include a 5-year MIST wired assurance subscription or comparable. Preferred stacking cables are Juniper branded SFP28 25GE in 1- and 3-meter lengths or comparable. Preferred optics are Juniper branded SFP+ or comparable/compatible (SR / LR / LRM). Specific information and quantities can be found within the required hardware for each site. Uninterrupted Power Supply – Preferred solution is rack mounted APC Smart-UPS Ultra 2200VA and 3000VA Tower/Rack Convertible UPS with ethernet Network Management and environmental monitor or comparable (all bids should be Lithium-Ion battery solutions). Specific information and quantities can be found within the required hardware for each site. Tripplite branded UPS hardware will not be accepted for this RFP. Professional Services (Optional Add-on) – Professional services are not required for this bid but will be considered based on the following criteria. Any optional professional services quoted should include per-hour pricing with a Juniper Certified engineer for remote assistance with configuration translation from current EX3300 to new EX4100 switching. Engineer should hold a minimum of the following certification levels: JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-MistAI-Wireless, JNCIS-MistAI-Wired. DPS reserves the right to omit purchase of professional services based upon available funding. A separate line-item for professional services will be the physical removal of all old switches, cleanup of old wiring, and installation of new switches with provided 1’ or 6” ethernet jumpers along with additional wiring changes as required by the Dalton Public Schools Network Administrator. (Physical installation professional services are also not required but will be considered for this project.)
