The selected consultant will perform the following tasks: A. Project Initiation and Site Assessment • Conduct a kickoff meeting with stakeholders, including representatives from Clallam Transit, Jefferson Transit, and local planning authorities with Jefferson County. • Perform a site visit to evaluate existing conditions, including traffic patterns, pedestrian usage, feasibility of transit usage, and site constraints. • Identify any environmental and permitting requirements, including stormwater management considerations. B. Design Development • Facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders to gather input on features and requirements for the site plan. Provide updates and gather feedback at key milestones. • Develop a simple conceptual site plan that incorporates a paving layout and specifications for a 10” thick paved area for transit maneuverability. • Consider future improvements such as a restroom or electric vehicle charging. • Integrate stormwater management considerations in compliance with local and state regulations...
