A. Statement of Work The firm will design and perform a 26-30 minute Memorial Day weekend fireworks display at North Hempstead Beach Park at approximately 8:30 PM, or when it turns dark, on the following dates: • Saturday, May 24, 2025 • Saturday, May 23, 2026 • Saturday, May 29, 2027 • Saturday, May 27, 2028 • Saturday, May 26, 2029 The display will be launched from a barge that will be provided by the firm (and included in the proposed price), to be situated in Hempstead Harbor. No land-based display is requested. Proposer will be responsible for supplying all personnel and engineers necessary for the display. Proposer will be responsible for applying for, receiving and paying for all applicable permits for the display, including, but not limited to the Office of the Town Clerk, the Port Washington Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, Nassau County Police Department Bomb Squad, Nassau County Fire Marshal, the FAA and the US Department of Transportation. Fireworks materials and personnel necessary for the display must arrive on-site the morning of the display at approximately 8:00 am. The display must be colorful and synchronize with music provided by the Town. Music for the display will be provided by a third party that is contracted with the Town. The Town will organize a site visit with the successful proposer and the third-party sound company to coordinate the logistics of the display. The Town will also provide a prerecorded message from the Town Supervisor to accompany the display.
