Scope of Work for Professional Well Installation Services: This Invitation to Bid is to obtain licensed professional well installation services to establish a water source for a restroom at Terrapin Skate Park. The successful bidder will be responsible for all aspects of well installation, including permitting, excavation, connection to a constant pressure pump, stubbing the water line for future connection. Fixtures to be served by the well will include a urinal, toilet, sink, and exterior hose bib. Manufacturer’s specifications for connections to the restroom building are provided in the Appendix. All work shall comply with local codes, and the contractor shall be responsible for all necessary permits and inspections. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to complete the required work. Work will be required prior to and following installation of the concrete building in May/June 2025. The successful bidder will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Site Assessment and Planning 1.1 Conduct a site assessment to determine optimal well location based on soil conditions, water table depth, and engineering specifications provided in the bid package. 1.2 Develop a work plan that includes the layout of the well, pump, and water line, ensuring it complies with local regulations and best practices for park facilities. 1.3 Well is to be completed, developed and grouted according to state regulations. Flow Test is to be done to determine permanent pump setting. Supply and install one pitless adapter capable of handling both the pump weight and flow rate needed of 40 gallons per minute. 2. Permitting and Application Management 2.1 Obtain all necessary permits for well drilling and water service installation at the park site, including any health department and environmental clearances as required. 2.2 Submit applications for establishing a new well, manage inspections, and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met for well activation. 3. Well Drilling and Casing Installation 3.1 Drill and install a well to the specifications outlined here, considering optimal depth and yield for a public restroom facility.
