The Illinois Department of Corrections seeks a vendor to provide repairs and perform maintenance work as requested by Authorized State personnel for Menard Correctional Center’s refrigeration unit coolers, freezers, and ice machines located in the Dietary, Cold Storage and Icehouse locations. Vendor shall provide all tools, equipment, and labor to perform preventative maintenance as needed, and repairs as requested for the facilities refrigeration unit coolers, freezers, and ice machines. All parts shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), if OEM parts are not available then an acceptable substitution must be approved by the Chief Engineer or designee. All repairs, and preventative maintenance shall be performed to manufacturer specifications. The facilities refrigeration units include walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers and doors, and ice machines located in the Dietary, Cold Storage and Icehouse locations. Services shall be provided to said equipment throughout the Menard Correctional Center.
