The Contractor will supply all materials, supplies, parts, labor, and equipment to complete the well site according to plans and specifications. The Contractor will complete the concrete well pad and base around the new well casing. The Contractor will set the well pump, column piping, vertical shaft, discharge head, vertical 500 horsepower hollow shaft motor, and related above ground 16” piping and accessories including a new flow meter with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition connection. The Contractor will trench and install the 16” underground piping on the well site per plans and specifications. The Contractor shall trench and install all electrical conduit and wiring underground per electrical drawings and specifications. The Contractor will install the city-supplied generator and transfer switch and wire to the electrical drawings and specifications. The Contractor will supply and install all additional electrical components and controls not supplied by the city. The Contractor will supply and install a line shaft oil lubrication system and National Sanitation Foundation oil drum with stand. The Contractor will supply and install the transmission main between the 20-1 well site and the Big Bend storage tank. Coordination between the water system manager and the Contractor will be required for any interruption of service at the Big Bend Tank site. Traffic control plans have been prepared by West Coast Civil for this portion of the project. Trenching and asphalt repairs will be required. All testing required by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality for acceptance of the well and transmission main will be the responsibility of the Contractor and must be witnessed by a city utilities inspector.
