The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, supplies, and other facilities and means necessary or proper perform operations as described, and to include all handwork as necessary for the completion of reclaiming, and all related work. The contractor is responsible for setting the rough and final grading after reclaiming, so the roadway grades will shed storm water. Following reclaiming, the city will provide and deliver additional base materials if necessary. Raised structures must be painted in fluorescent orange paint following all reclaiming operations. A water truck must be used as necessary to control dust following reclaiming until paving base course is complete. The contractor must provide proper base compaction. Compaction is critical elements to road life.
