A new 49,000SF building located at 1720 Taylor Avenue, Racine, WI, will replace the existing Behavioral Health building at 2000 Domanik Drive, Racine, WI. First floor will be approximately 33,000 SF. Second Floor will be approximately 16,000 SF. The site is approximately 2.8 acres and will include nearly 55,000SF of asphalt and concrete surfaces and nearly 34,000 SF of restored green space. Site utilities and storm detention are included. This new building will provide services and functions for: • 15 bed substance use disorder (SUD) residential facility licensed under DHS 75. This facility will have a dedicated courtyard and entrance, nurse’s station, and support spaces. • 15 bed crisis diversion program called SAIL. This facility will be built to DHS 83 code for community based residential facility. This facility will have a dedicated outside courtyard and entrance, nurse’s station, and support spaces. • Office and support spaces for SUD and SAIL facilities, and Office spaces for: Crisis Mobile Response and 24/7 Crisis hotline services, Adult Protective Services staff, crisis staff, Comprehensive Community Services staff, Racine County Senior Nutrition Program staff • Meals on Wheels (“MOW”) kitchen and food storage • Unfurnished space for future expansion • Parking
