The Town of Gilbert (“Gilbert”) is requesting detailed information regarding the qualifications of Contractor’s for the above referenced project. Gilbert intends to establish a list of qualified contractors. This list will be known as the Qualified Venders List (QVL) from which vendors will be selected to provide services on an as-needed, case-by-case or matter-by-matter basis. Gilbert will enter into a contract with each qualifying vendor; however the execution of a contract does not guarantee work. Gilbert will issue a Purchase Order setting forth the scope and cost The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: • Applying protective coatings on wastewater process equipment, structural support members, piping, tanks, motors, mechanical equipment, manholes, lift station wet wells and accessory items throughout the Town of Gilbert wastewater infrastructure • Providing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals required to make necessary surface repairs and preparation in order to apply protective coating systems • Ensuring proper surface preparation and coating of all existing exterior items and surfaces throughout the project areas. • Preparation of surfaces and application of coatings according to the City of Phoenix Guide Specifications, 09900-Painting and 15050-Piping Systems • Meeting City of Phoenix Supplement to MAG 626 corrosion Coating of Sanitary Sewer Manholes • Working within confined spaces in conformance with OSHA, local laws and standards • Apply protective coatings on water production and process equipment, such as pumps, motors, piping, water storage tanks and all other related process equipment. • Must be familiar with NSF/ANSI standards required for the coatings and the processes used for the prepping and coating applications on potable water systems.
