Replace the heat system and install air conditioning in offices of two warehouses that will be the future home to Boyle County’s Public Works Department and the Solid Waste/Recycling Center. Fiscal Court desires to have these departments relocated no later than June 30, 2025. Desired heat type is Radiant Tube Type Gas Heat. In recommending the size (BTU’s) of the heating units, the successful bidder should evaluate the space, taking in to consideration which zones will be occupied and those used for storage. These two warehouses are located at 225 North Stewarts Lane in Danville Kentucky. Building 1: Solid Waste/Recycling Center 52,000 sf Building 2: Public Works Center 30,000 sf • Both buildings should be completed as one project. • Boyle County Fiscal Court will accept recommendations that contribute to overall efficiency and cost savings. • Remove inefficient heat system and replace with Radiant Tube-Type Gas Heat in the working areas. • Recommend options for minimal climate-controlled heat in storage areas • Install air conditioning in the administrative offices within each warehouse.
