The Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront requests proposals from interested parties for a three (3) summer service contract to provide Ice Cream Vending concessions at North Beach Campground, Oakledge Park, and Leddy Park. A. North Beach Campground’s annual seasonal schedule is from May 15 through October 15th. We would expect the schedule to have a minimum season of Memorial Day through Labor Day. A schedule outside of this schedule is permissible upon prior approval of the City. B. Oakledge Park annual seasonal schedule is May 15th through Labor Day. We would expect the schedule to have a minimum season of Memorial Day through Labor Day. A schedule outside of this schedule is permissible upon prior approval of the City. C. Leddy Park runs mostly year round, but the best timeframe would be May – October 15th . Leddy has a lot of league events such as youth softball, soccer and lacrosse in the Fall. A schedule outside of this schedule is permissible upon prior approval of the City. D. This concession space would consist of a parking spot at a given time of day or a given day of the week for a self-contained Ice Cream Truck. Any trucks must be self-sufficient and not require power or water. E. At all 3 locations operations are allowed to run from 11am until 6pm. Operations beyond 6pm is allowed with permission. Advertising of sales is allowed with permission and approval from the City, but amplified sound is not permitted while parked.
