● The Contract Monitor and/or Facility Designee (i.e. Infection Control Nurse, Health Ste Nurse) will notify the Contractor to schedule a pickup at the facility. ● Specimen collection services at the Baltimore and Rockville RICA location(s) for employees for the detection of active SARS-CoV-2 infection RT PCR using specific nucleic acids in nasal swabs. ● Secure courier service for specimen collection from the RICA locations to vendor Laboratory ● Analysis of COVID-19 testing kits for up to 600 individual tests across 2 locations for the duration of the contract period. • Hours of operations: RICA Baltimore - Pick up availability is 24/7, including Holidays. • Hours of operations: RICA Rockville - Pick up availability is 24/7, including Holiday, ● Testing results will be provided to the Contract Monitor or their designee(s) via email or contractor/vendors provided internet portal. ● Results reporting shall be with a turn-around time from testing of 24-48 hours, not to exceed 72 hours. (Any testing result turnaround time that exceeds 72hrs will be charged at the expense of the vendor ● Provide notification within 24hrs of extended turnaround times. ● The Reporting of inconclusive results with a scheduled date for repeat testing (within 24 hours). In a situation where a repeated specimen test is inconclusive, the specimen must be cancelled and recollected.
