A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limitedto, the following: 1. Construction of a riverwalk along the Kinnickinnic River in Milwaukee, includingsitepreparation and demolition, erosion and sedimentation control, sheet pile wall modifications, pile supported decking and walkway areas, gangway and floatingdock, restroom building, stone outcroppings, pre-cast seat walls, site furnishings, art andsignage, earthworks, grading, paving, site utilities including storm sewer, sanitarysewer, water, electrical, lighting, storm water management facilities, and habitat enhacements, landscaping and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Architectural elementsare as follows: a. Occupiable structure is a modified intermodal shipping container. Modificationsrequire a delegated designer for structural integrity and fabrication. Architectural drawings show design intent. Delegated design shall be coordinated with canopystructure and construction sequencing. Refer to Section 013573 for DelegatedDesign requirements. 1) Canopy includes foundation, structural steel, roofing / cladding 2) Interior Buildout includes interior finishes, equipment, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. A custom built kayak storage rack shall be coordinatedwith the intermodal shipping container design. 3) Performance area includes a swinging gate and performance lighting. Thegate requires a delegated designer for structural integrity and fabrication. Architectural drawings show design intent. Refer to section 013573for Delegated Design requirements.
