The project is located around the Public Safety Building (Police and Fire Departments), the Public Works Garage, the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF), and the Armory Park (Southern Parking Lot Only). The work consists of the repair and/or replacement of sanitary and storm structures, and pipes; installation of new curb and gutter; replacement of curb and gutter, and sidewalks; replacement of stamped colored concrete patio and concrete pavement; installation of new concrete pavement; installation of new concrete washout station; base patching; the resurfacing and/or replacement of driveways and parking lots; installation of pavement markings and symbols; and reinstallation of existing signs. Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: • New Asphalt Pavement: 107 square yards • Full Asphalt Pavement Replacement: 1,087 square yards • New Concrete Flume: 6 square yards • Remove Existing Pavement and Replace with 3” Asphalt: 90 square yards • Concrete Pavement Replacement: 770 square yards • Mill and Overlay: 10,169 square yards • Asphalt Pavement – 2” Overlay: 7,832 square yards • Remove Existing Asphalt and Replace with Concrete Pavement: 1,504 square yards
