Contractor will provide services by a herd of grazing animals for vegetation management (i.e., grazing herd services) at O'Hare. Services will be performed only when weather conditions will not jeopardize the health and safety of the animals. The optimal grazing season is between May and November of each year, but animals are not required to be onsite during the entire season. After contract award and prior to mobilization, the Contractor must provide a proposed grazing plan which best fits the needs of the CDA as described herein and best controls vegetation growth. The Contractor must adhere to humane treatment of the animals at all times and ensure that they are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The Contractor is solely responsible for the means, methods, and techniques regarding the care of animals.
