The selected Consultant(s) will report to, and operate under, the direction of City staff, and shall indicate in their response the services they are qualified to provide, including but not limited to the services described below. Depending upon service and duration of the task or assignment, the tasks may be able to be performed remotely or need to be onsite at City Hall. 1. Plan Check Services Duties may include: a. Complete residential review: life safety, structural, green code, energy, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) b. Complete non-residential review: life safety, accessibility, structural, green code, energy code, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) c. Tenant Improvements: life safety, accessibility, typical light structural (non-load bearing elements), green code, energy code, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) d. Perform simple same day reviews as needed 2. Permit Technician Services Duties may include: a. Assist with reception, records retention, and processing of construction documents. b. Receive applications, process plans and permits, coordinate and issue permits, including simple instant permits c. Assist City staff in permit routing and coordination of permits and plans d. Calculate permit fees and assist the Building Official e. Provide front counter customer service 3. Code Enforcement a. Residential code enforcement inspections of all types b. Combination non-residential code enforcement inspections of all types c. Issue compliance notices d. Assist City Staff in coordination of permits and code enforcement records e. Assist with reception and records retention, 4. Building Inspection Services Duties may include: a. Combination residential inspections of all types b. Combination non-residential inspections of all types c. Assist City Staff in coordination of permits and code enforcement records 5. Building-Related Disaster and Emergency Recovery Services Duties may include: a. Permit processing b. Inspection services c. Code enforcement services
