The bidder shall submit a project plan using the design standards below that is in compliance with all applicable IDHA, EPA, and State of Illinois regulations as well as all local building and zoning codes. The plan must include a clear project timeline and budget with line item costs. The contractor shall act as the general contractor for the project using subcontractors as required. Subcontractors that will be required should be clearly identified in the project plan. Plumbing a. Remove existing gas piping in the basement from the meter to the fixtures on first floor and basement. Furnace, water heater, dryer, and stove. b. Install new approved metallic gas piping with inline shutoffs at all fixtures to code. c. Remove water lines in the basement from the meter to all the fixtures in basement and first floor. d. Install new copper water line from the meter to all the fixtures and appliances. New inline shutoffs at all fixtures and appliances will be installed. e. Replace the silcok that is going through the basement block wall up to penetrating the rim joist. Hydro cement the old penetration. Install shutoff near the fixture. Install new fixture to the exterior caulk and the penetration. f. Attach the water lines and pipping to the block wall at the washer and dryer location. g. Replace cast iron waste lines in the basement with PVC bring everything up to code complaint. h. There is a leak on the water line shut off behind the meter that will need replaced. i. Install a clean out in the basement for the sink 2” waste line. Electrical a. In the kitchen nook there is a receptacle that would be the power source to run a new switch and new light to the ceiling. Using wire molding to cover the wires and wall mounted boxes is acceptable. b. Install smoker/co2 10 yr. battery fixtures on all the levels total of 3.
