a) Move existing shelving and furniture through multiple phases of the project in compliance with information provided. Move library collections (Books, CDs, DVDs etc.) from existing shelves onto book carts. Provide the library with boxes and move all staff supplies, files, computers, printers, copiers, office equipment. Provide temporary storage as needed. Disassemble all existing shelves for owner resale. Assist the library in recycling and disposal of existing products. i) The contractor must work closely with library staff coordinating the move of shelving and furniture. ii) The contractor must work with new shelving and furniture installers to coordinate schedules. iii) The contractor is to supply the library with the necessary number of book carts needed to move collections. iv) Placement and installation of library shelving and furniture in new locations in accordance with the plans supplied for each phase. This includes includes all public and staff spaces within the library and media center. b) Provide Alternate bid to additionally move library collections (Books, CDs, DVDs etc.) onto new shelving i) Provide a bid that divides the collections (Books, CDs, DVDs etc.) between Adult and Children’s/Teen Collections for each phase ii) The contractor must work closely with the library staff coordinating the move of collections (Books, CDs, DVDs etc.)
