The Successful Responder will develop a communication and education plan for TDM, develop technical assistance tools and support initial engagement to build a statewide shared understanding of TDM, to identify local-led implementation strategies appropriate for different community contexts, and to pilot training modules for MnDOT staff and partners. These tools and engagement should focus on developing shared understanding of TDM and its connection with travel behavior, identifies local-led implementation strategies and training/ technical assistance tools to support mode shift for MnDOT’s GHG and VMT reduction goals. The education and training program would engage the following audiences: 1) MnDOT District staff, 2) Metro-region local partners, including county, city, and Metro Planning Organizations (MPO) staff, and 3) Greater Minnesota local partners, including county, city, and MPO/Regional Development Organizations (RDO).
