The purpose of these specifications is to identify a water tanker with the ability to pump water on, or self-load, to pump water off under pressure through nozzles, or to simply unload through a gravity bar. The hauling capacity of the tank shall be 4,000 gallons and will be constructed of T-304 stainless steel. The pressure nozzles shall have the ability to spray from the front of the truck at a downward angle to wash off a road way, spray overhead from the rear to water a gravel surface, and shall have the ability to spray through side guns mounted behind the cab at the front of the tank, left (L) and right (R) side for off the roadway applications of water for dust suppression. The tank unit will be mounted onto a new truck chassis supplied by Benton County.
