Contractor shall provide thermal blankets to the City of Mesa Fire and Medical Department. The department estimates ordering fifty (50) blankets upon contract award and ordering replacement thermal blankets throughout the life of the contract. The City is entertaining bids of either one-time use or reusable thermal blankets. Blankets shall be made of a flame-retardant fabric with durable construction. Temperature resistance must be up to 2900 degrees Fahrenheit. Blankets shall be sufficient in size to cover most vehicle sizes. (Estimating 20’ X 30’ or 25’ X 30’) Blankets must come with a compact, transportable bag to ensure an easy and efficient deployment. Blankets must come with a strap, handle, or tool adapter to allow for easier deployment.
