The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Wildlife is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ's) from a Professional Architect Team of consultants to provide a feasibility study, concept design and cost estimating services for the Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory Facility. The consultant team should include Colorado Licensed Architects and associated subconsultants for, but not limited to civil, electrical, mechanical and structural engineering. The feasibility study will contain four task as summarized below: Task 1 – Inventory of Existing Aquatics Toxicology (ATL) and River Watch (RWL) Laboratories a. A complete inventory of the existing facility and staff offices to determine the needs for the new facility. b. A needs assessment to determine additional improvements required to provide a better functioning facility. Task 2 – Concept Design of a New Building to house both ATL & RWL Laboratories and Staff a. Review the previously prepared site design of the New Fort Collins Service Center to determine the proposed conditions of the site. b. Prepare a concept design of the new facility (site, buildings, laboratories, utilities and etc.). The concept design will include the water quantity and quality needed for the ATL, pretreatment of the water and post water treatment for discharge into a wastewater facility. c. Prepare a cost estimate of the proposed improvements at this new site.
