VI. Specifications or Scope of Work A. Intent: To purchase a Transformer Oil Purification System. Vacuum / Heating dehydrators system. To remove free, emulsified, and dissolved water, dissolved gases, and particulate from Transformer Oil. B. Minimum Requirements 1. Delivery must be made by May 31, 2025. C. Specific Requirements 1. The vacuum chamber and component interconnecting plumbing will be made of stainless steel. 2. An oil sample port, with shutoff device will be provided upstream of the filter. 3. The system will have an inlet and outlet flow indicators. 4. The vacuum chamber will have a clear viewing window for internal viewing of the vacuum chamber during operation. 5. The vacuum chamber must have a Foam Detection and control system. 6. The unit must have a shutdown system if a leak is detected. 7. The unit will not need provisions to be used on an energized transformer. 8. Skid Mounted with lifting eyes and forklift guides. 9. All Manuals in hard copy and electronic media format. a) Utility Power Requirements: 480V/3Ph/60Hz b) Processing Flow Rate: > 1200 GPH c) Heater total kW: > 60 kW d) Controller: HMI / PLC e) Filters: Minimum 5 micron inlet and .5 micron outlet f) Vacuum Pump: Produce an end pressure of 1 Torr. g) Electrical controls and enclosure: NEMA rated and UL Approved. h) Filters: Filter element will include an internal bypass valves to prevent over pressurizing the filter elements. Each filter will also be equipped with a reading differential pressure gauge and electrical signal that will illuminate dirty filter indication lights.
