Kittitas County is seeking proposals for a Vehicle Towing Provider to remove vehicles parked on Kittitas County property in violation of KCC 10.06. Work under this contract will include, but not be limited to: 1. Towing company will provide and install identifying warning signs that will inform people whom to contact in the event that their vehicle has been removed from county property. 2. Towing company will respond within 4 hours when county employees identify vehicles to be removed from county property and towing company will hold said vehicle until the owner reclaims their property. All costs of removal and storage are to be borne by the vehicle owner. 3. Towing company may be called to various locations in Kittitas County, usually Ellensburg and occasionally Cle Elum. 4. Days of operation will typically be Monday through Friday but weekends and evenings are possible. 5. Towing company will provide times for owners to retrieve their vehicles. 6. Towing company may be called upon to assist with jump starts for public vehicles or other assistance as needed. Costs if any to be borne by the vehicle operator / owner.
