· Provide one (1) Registered Nurse for each traditional school site (excluding the ten (10) sites with school-based clinics. These schools are: Elementary – Ashland, Athens-Chilesburg, Brenda Cowan, Cassidy, Clays Mill, Coventry Oak, Deep Springs, Dixie, Garden Springs, Garrett Morgan, George Washington Carver STEM, Glendover, James Lane Allen, Julius Marks, Lansdowne, Liberty, Maxwell, Meadowthorpe, Millcreek, Northern, Picadome, Rosa Parks, RISE Girls STEM, Russell Cave, Sandersville, SCPA at Bluegrass (K-8), Southern, Squires, Stonewall, Tates Creek, Veterans Park, Wellington, Yates. Middle – Beaumont, Bryan Station, Crawford, Edythe J. Hayes, Jessie Clark, Leestown, Mary E. Britton, Morton, Southern Tates Creek, Winburn; High – Bryan Station, Frederick Douglass (with Carter G. Woodson Academy), Lafayette, Paul Laurence Dunbar and the STEAM Academy (with the Success Academy). Technical or Special Program – The Hill, the PreSchool Center. · Provide a .5 Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for District programs. An LPN may cover programs with student populations of 100 students or less. Those schools are programs are: Audrey Grievous/Family Care Center, Martin Luther King Academy, The Learning Center, The Stables, Locust Trace Agri-Science Center. · Provide coverage of schools during summer sessions of at least (1000 Hours). · Train school personnel in emergency and daily medication delegation in accordance with all Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) and Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR) - required. · Administer daily medications through nurses or Unlicensed Authorized Professionals (UAPs) with appropriate logs and safeguards (which includes monthly medication audits). · Organization of field trip medication lists, medications, and documentation, coordinate with school personnel, as well as vendor who may be covering trip · Perform clean/sterile urinary catheterizations as ordered and/or train and delegate UAP to perform catheterization procedure, and/or supervise a student who does physician ordered self-catheterizations with supervision. · Administer enteral feedings (when requested) and preferably train, delegate, and oversee staff who administer daily feedings.
