The City of Aurora desires to enter into an agreement with a contractor for junk and trash removal services on city owned and privately-owned parcels for which junk and trash violations have been cited or observed on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for one (1) year, with optional two (2) one-year extensions based upon mutual agreement between the contractor and the City of Aurora with an anticipated commencing date in March 2025. The City reserves the right to award the bid individually or cumulatively. The contractor awarded the contract shall agree to furnish all labor, equipment and insurance to provide described services in a safe, professional, and workmanlike manner. 2.0.0 GENERAL 2.1.0 Junk and trash removal will generally be confined to parkways, privately-owned parcels and City of Aurora owned parcels found in violation of code. 2.2.0 At the direction of the Division responsible for the abatement of this violation, the junk and trash shall be removed upon written request via email. 2.3.0 Contractor shall have sufficient equipment and personnel to complete requests in 48 hours. 2.4.0 Prior to work being completed photographs of the address and the areas requiring junk and trash removal shall be taken.
