The consultant will be expected to perform the following tasks: 1. Review & Plan for Website Update or Redesign Review the current website and identify any issues. Provide recommendations for streamlining the existing website or propose a plan for a new website, ensuring the final product is user-friendly. The website should allow City staff and volunteers to independently manage content updates. 2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Improve the website’s presence on search engines. Provide training for City staff on SEO best practices, specifically related to adding content. 3. Event Calendar Integration Develop or recommend options for an event calendar that can be easily updated by City staff, volunteers, or members. 4. Training Provide two hours of training annually for website volunteers to ensure they are equipped to manage and update the website effectively. 5. Quarterly Reporting Provide quarterly reports on website performance, including suggestions for improvements or updates, to be presented to the Downtown Board. 6. Consultation Services Provide ongoing consultation and support on website-related issues, including new site features, site/plug-in updates and technical difficulties, billed on a fee-for-service basis.
