The Commonwealth of Kentucky is requesting a consultant to plan and facilitate a taskforce to establish a set of quantifiable metrics for these new objectives, both for in-progress and meeting WRC-Next Generation goals; identifying Kentucky community and regional examples; updating the certification application; identifying changes that need to be made to the WRC website; recommending certification incentives, rewards, and technical assistance strategies; and creating a marketing and outreach strategy to promote and implement Work Ready Communities – Next Generation. The Consultant is to provide the following services: 1. Coordinate, plan, and facilitate taskforce activities with the implementation of Work Ready Communities – Next Generation. 2. Utilize strategic and talent metrics outlined to create an “In-Progress” and “Next Generation Certified” metrics that are quantifiable. 3. Provide real Kentucky local community examples for the quantifiable metrics. 4. Develop a certification application package to include program explanation and benefits, application/certification process, application forms, certification requirement, acceptable data sources. 5. Develop a marketing and outreach strategy including, but not limited to, an orientation presentation and script or video appropriate for explaining the program and engaging local communities and organizations to participate. 6. Provide recommendation for updating the website interface that reflects the changes in the program.
