The City of Mesa Water Resources Department (City) is seeking a multi-year term contract with a qualified contractor to perform bare ground weed management, minor landscaping including tree and shrub trimming, blower cleaning of walkways, entrances, driveways and removal of debris, weeds and dead vegetation at the Water Reclamation Plants and Water Treatment Plants indicated. TASKS: ANNUAL WEED MAINTENANCE: Contractor shall apply any combination of mechanical removal, pre/post emergent and spot maintenance to prevent growth of weeds for the entire term of the contract. Complete application of pre/post emergent shall be done (at a minimum) at six (6) month intervals. Contractor shall perform quarterly site inspections to remove and spot treat any areas where weeds have sprouted. If weeds are sprouting at a rate that cannot wait for the quarterly inspection and treatment, the Contractor will be notified by the City and shall respond to all calls for treatment within forty-eight (48) hours.
