The City of St. Joseph is requesting proposals to include the following preferred scope. All proposals will be accepted, but the information provided below on size, layout, and programming options is provided to set expectations and is preferred by the City of St. Joseph. Preferred is an indoor aquatic facility featuring an eight-lane, 50 yard lap pool, activity/recreation pool with play features, and a therapeutic pool which can be a section of the activity pool. The City would prefer that the lap pool and activity pool have separate operating systems. Additional minimum requirements are listed below. All space sizes listed are estimates based on other indoor aquatic facilities in the area. Specifics of the project will be determined if and when the city decides to pursue this project. • Family Changing Rooms (850 sq. ft.) – five private restrooms with each including a shower, changing table, bench, toilet and sink. Also includes shared locker area of 100 lockers. • Men’s Locker Room (1,440 sq. ft.) – Locker area, four open showers, two private showers, and restrooms with tile flooring
