The intent of this ITB is to obtain competitive pricing for fence line removal and replacement, right-of-way vegetation clearing, and fire line installation within Dinner Island Ranch Wildlife Management Area (DIR WMA) in Hendry County, Florida (Figures 1 & 2) per the specifications contained herein. The awarded Bidder (Contractor) shall remove approximately 105,650 linear feet of barbed wire fence and install approximately 201,300 linear feet of 5-strand barbed wire fencing, 165 individual 16-foot gates, 22 double 12-foot gates, and 14 individual 3-foot pedestrian spring back gates. The removal and replacement of fencing and gates will include right-of-way vegetation clearing 50 feet interior of the gates and fence line. Additionally, the Contractor will prepare 16-feet-wide fire lines along the fence line, as budget allows, up to 27 miles.
