Bid Item 1 – Mobilization Measurement and payment for mobilization will be in accordance with SECTION 02050. Bid Item 2 – Remove and Dispose of Material This bid item includes all labor, materials, equipment and incidental costs required to remove and dispose of existing building material to allow for construction in accordance with these bid documents. Payment will be made at the lump sum bid price as reported on the Bid Schedule. Bid Item 3 – Relocate Existing Utilities This bid item includes all labor, materials, equipment and incidental costs required to relocate existing utilities in accordance with these bid documents. This pay item includes relocating the existing A/C unit, propane gas valve, dryer vent, and furnace intake and exhaust piping. Payment will be made at the lump sum bid price as reported on the Bid Schedule. Bid Item 4 – Earthwork This bid item includes all labor, materials, equipment and incidental costs required to perform earthwork in accordance with these bid documents. This includes but is not limited to: any costs for preparatory earthwork, excavation, backfill, compaction, and finish grading. Payment will be made at the lump sum bid price as reported on the Bid Schedule. Bid Item 5 – Concrete Foundation This bid item includes all labor, materials, equipment and incidental costs required to furnish and install concrete foundations in accordance with these bid documents. This pay item includes but is not limited to: formwork, reinforcement, inserts and fastening devices, and all other supplies necessary for the complete installation. Cold weather protection should be anticipated and included in this bid item. Individual items shall not be measured separately but shall be included in the total unit cost.
