The Forsyth County School System (FCS) is accepting proposals for annual “Ground Works” services on an “as needed” basis. This contract shall meet the specifications, terms and conditions herein and be consistent with premium industry standards, best practices and all relevant code and law regarding these particular services. Price will not be the sole determinant of award as FCS will consider non-cost elements to include qualifications, experience, past performance, references, and methodologies. For Purposes of This Contract: Ground Works is defined as any construction type work on the exterior grounds of FCS properties separate from the traditional landscape contract to include, but not limited to, grading, excavating, digging, underground plumbing, sewer/septic, irrigation, asphalt and concrete, curbs and sidewalks, and general ground manipulation and finish. Contractor does not have to specialize in all aspects of this contract in order to be considered for award as FCS may award to one or more contractors in order to cover all the needs herein.
