The Airports Authority is seeking Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) services at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to increase the airport gate capacity and improve the level of service for passengers on domestic and international flights. The work is expected to occur over 10 years and consists of the following services: Concourse E/F that will be an extension of the Tier 2 Concourse-East project that is currently under construction, and will support approximately an additional 24 narrow body and 12 wide body gates using Multiple Aircraft Ramp System (MARS); a new Federal Inspection Station (FIS) built integral with Concourse E/F; Utility Development to include systems for chilled and hot water production, distribution and storage, and electrical facilities and infrastructure; Additional Work for Expansion that may include but is not limited to security, wayfinding, technology infrastructure, utilities infrastructure, aircraft fueling facilities, airfield capacity enhancements, airfield pavements, electrical vehicle support infrastructure, and environmental sustainability.
