The Contractor shall be responsible for measuring all surfaces for the purchase of materials needed. The approximate square footage of the second floor is 7500 square feet and approximate square footage of the board room is 3600 square footages. The Contractor shall be licensed and insured and hold a Virginia Class A Contractor’s license. Materials and work procedures must comply with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. The contractor shall be responsible for the moving of all furniture, filing cabinets, etc. and putting them back in place. The Contractor shall provide primer, paint, equipment, labor, supervision, and all other necessary supplies to perform the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all wallpaper and make all repairs to drywall ensuring that the painting surfaces are free from dust, oil, grease, dirt, mildew, and other materials and properly prepare the surface to receive the paint, ensuring complete and even coverage and adequate adhesion of the paint to the surface. The contractor shall paint all the walls and the trim around the doors and windows with Sherman Williams or equivalent latex paint with standard color used by the County.
