1.1. The State of Vermont, Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation is seeking to purchase up to 10 (ten) 25-foot steel temporary skidder bridges for use on logging operations. The State of Vermont will provide the design for these bridges, and this project will entail the construction of the bridges to those standards. The completed bridges will be decked with 3” Hemlock decking and running planks. See the bridge design in Attachment A. In addition to building the bridges, the contractor will provide a location to store the bridges until they can be picked up by the logger/forester who will be awarded the bridges by FPR.
